Manipur woman dies after taking COVID vaccine

IMPHAL: A woman reportedly died few hours after taking the Covishield vaccine in Manipur.

Reportedly, the incident took place in Thoubal district on Monday when the deceased was administered the first dose of the Covishield vaccine at around noon.

Soon after, her health started to deteriorate. According to reports, the woman was admitted to Thoubal District Hospital where she was declared dead by the doctors.

According to reports, the actual cause of the woman’s death is yet to be found out. However, the deceased’s family alleged that the woman died due to the vaccine.

Reportedly, the family met with the Chief Minister who assured to inquire about the incident.
