Suspected ZUF cadre apprehended in Manipur

Guwahati, December 14,2018:

A joint team of the Civil Defence Organisation and Assam Rifles apprehended a suspected cadre of the militant group Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) from Tera Amudon Leirak (Samungou Workshop) in Manipur on Friday.

The suspected cadre has been identified as Kamei (N) Moirangthem (O) Rebika Devi.

From her possession, the team seized 20 Chinese handmade grenade s, 20 detonators, 1120 AK live ammunition and one mobile.

The apprehended cadre has been handed over to Lamphel police for further investigation.
