<p>The vigil was organised by the Thangmeiband United Club (TUC), with people from different sections of society gathering to pay tribute to the musician and seek justice for his family.</p>

<p>Participants lit candles and raised slogans such as “We want justice for Chongtham Vikram”, demanding a thorough investigation into his death and accountability for those responsible.</p>

<p>Vikram, 54, was known for his contribution to Manipur’s music scene as a guitarist. He allegedly came under attack outside his residence at Kilokari Ashram in Delhi’s Sunlight Colony after objecting to disorderly conduct.</p>

<p>The gathering at Kangla reflected growing concern in Manipur over the circumstances surrounding Vikram’s death, with participants calling for justice and a fair investigation into the case.</p>
