Christian Book Fair brings curated faith literature to Kangpokpi

A spiritually enriching Christian Book Fair, organised by Beautiful Books, the literature ministry of the Layman’s Evangelical Fellowship (Chennai), was inaugurated today at Parazeau Maranatha Academy, Kangpokpi. Rev. Paolenlal Singson, Pastor of Chongthu Baptist Church Kangpokpi, formally opened the event by cutting the ribbon in the presence of church leaders, school authorities and eager visitors.

Beautiful Books, known for bringing authentic Christian literature to regions with limited access, has introduced a carefully curated selection of Bibles and faith-based books for readers in Kangpokpi. The fair will remain open until Saturday, the 29th of this month, after which the ministry team will move to its next destination.

The exhibition features a wide array of titles for all age groups and spiritual needs, including children’s literature, youth-focused resources, devotionals, discipleship materials, theology books, marriage counselling guides, pastor-support tools, commentaries, dictionaries and an extensive selection of Bibles. Major versions and local-language translations are also available.

Organisers emphasised the fair’s strict vetting process, ensuring that every book aligns with sound doctrine. In an era where misleading spiritual content is increasingly common, Beautiful Books aims to provide only trustworthy and uplifting resources.

“Our aim is not just to conduct a book fair,” said Pastor Daniel, Manager of Beautiful Books. “We want to ensure that no one is misled or misguided in their spiritual journey. Every single book here has been prayerfully chosen so that readers may grow, be strengthened and be blessed. Whatever book you buy here will surely be a blessing to you.”

The opening day drew an enthusiastic crowd, with visitors browsing and purchasing books and Bibles. Organisers expressed gratitude for the warm response and encouraged the community to make use of the rare and valuable resources available during the fair.

With its mission-driven approach and thoughtful curation, the Christian Book Fair is expected to serve as a cherished spiritual resource for Kangpokpi in the days ahead.
