Manipur moving toward peace, signs of normalcy visible: RSS leader Sunil Ambekar

Amid ongoing concerns over the situation in Manipur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar, has expressed optimism, noting that the state is gradually witnessing signs of normalcy.

Speaking to the media, Ambekar stated, “When a situation deteriorates somewhere, it does not improve overnight. But in comparison to last year, normalcy has begun to return in Manipur. This is the beginning of peace. Dialogues are being held from both sides, and a constructive path is expected to emerge from this.”

The remarks come as efforts continue to bridge the communal divide and bring stability to the northeastern state, which witnessed intense ethnic violence last year.

The RSS functionary emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue and community engagement to facilitate long-term peace.
