Citizenship Bill is a propaganda of RSS: Mukul Sangma

Former Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Mukul Sangma alleged that the proposed controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 is completely a propaganda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which the Bhartiya Janata Party is trying hard to amend.

Alleging that the Central Government has discriminated the Northeastern states, Mukul Sangma added, "The government has no concern over the issues of North East. The government has opened channels for the illegal coal mining in Meghalaya and no efforts have been made by the BJP government to rescue the miners trapped in the rat-holes. No ministers have visited the site till today. "

Moreover, he added, "The BJP government that promised of giving jobs to the youth for which 10 per cent reservation was made for the poorer section. But where is the job they spoke about."
