Meghalaya has 693 active COVID19 cases. Out of the 693 cases, 305 are from the Armed forces and 388 are from other cases. The total recovered is 675.
Taking stock of the situation, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma tweeted regarding the situation.
The national COVID-19 spike of 63,489 cases and 944 deaths reported in India, in the last 24 hours. The tally in the country rises to 25,89,682 including 6,77,444 active cases, 18,62,258 discharged & 49,980 deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Mizoram is currently the only state in India with less than 1,000 cases of the novel coronavirus apart from Lakshadweep, which continues to be Coronavirus-free, with no cases having been detected on the islands so far. India has been reporting over 60,000 cases daily since August 7, barring August 11 when the country registered 53,601 new instances of the infection.
