Meghalaya reported a total of 76 COVID-19 cases on July 11th, 2020 taking the state’s total to 261, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma tweeted.
Out of 261 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, 215 are active and 45 have been cured and discharged so far. The state has registered one death due to the infection.

Assam has the highest COVID-19 cases in the Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India recorded the highest-ever daily spike of 26,506 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 7,93,802 lakh. The death toll is now 21,604, as per data released by the Union Health Ministry. Active cases in India stand at 2,76,682 while 4,95,516 have been cured or discharged so far.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 6 thousand deaths. It has recorded 2,30,599 corona cases with 1,27,259 cured, 9,667 deaths, and 93,673 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 1,07,051 cases with 82,226 cured, 3258 deaths, and 21,567 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 2,16,581 positive cases with 78,161 cured, 1,765 deaths 46,655 active cases. Gujarat with 39,194 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 27,718 have been cured, 2,008 deaths, and 9,468 active cases.
