With one more person tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya, the number of total cases has gone up to 34 on June 7th, 2020. The person has returned from Maharashtra recently.
Informing this, the Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted:
Of the 34 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 20 are active and 13 have been cured and discharged so far in the state while 1 died due to the infection.

Assam has highest COVID-19 cases in Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India has crossed 2 lakh-mark in terms of corona positives on June 3rd. On June 7th, the country currently has 2,46,628 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 1,20,406 active cases with 1,19,293 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 6929.

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 2 thousand deaths. It has recorded 82968 corona cases with 37390 cured, 2969 deaths, and 42609 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 27654 cases with 10664 cured, 761 deaths, and 16229 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 30152 positive cases with 16395 cured, 251 deaths 13506 active cases. Gujarat with 19592 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 13316 have been cured, 1219 deaths, and 5057 active cases.
