Meghalaya’s ex-CM DD Lapang to join NNP

Guwahati, November 20, 2018:

Former Chief Minister of Meghalaya, DD Lapang has finally announced that he will join the National People’s Party (NPP).

Reportedly, Lapang made the announcement came after Lapang’s supporters asked him to join the NPP on Saturday. He added, it’s the time to formally join a political party.

Lapang would not contest elections and supervise the Government that there is stability within.

He further said that he is yet to know the NPP and thanked his supporters for being with him after he left the Congress.
