MU Community threatens to resume agitation

Imphal (Manipur), September 03, 2018:

The Manipur University community has threatened the authorities to resume its agitation after the Manipur University Teachers’ Association (MUTA) and Manipur University Staffs’ Association (MUSA) were banned from the university.

This announcement came just after a day when Vice Chancellor Adya Prashad Pandey through a notice banned MUTA and MUSA stating that the step was taken to maintain discipline inside the university.

The decision was given out by the Manipur University community in the office chamber of the Chief Minister of Manipur.

In the meeting it was resolved that the competent authority should take appropriate action on or before 4 September 2018 against Prof AP Pandey on his ban orders issued since September 1, 2018.
