A woman died of swine flu after battling for life in Meghalaya. The woman has been identified as Rehana Khurshid of Shillong. She was tested positive for the flu on her return to Shillong from Pune.
Khurshid was admitted to the Nazareth hospital in Shillong where she breathed her last. She was admitted on October 17 with symptoms of fever, cough, weakness and respiratory problem.
Another woman from Mumbai has been diagnosed with swine flu and is under observation in the hospital.
