Shillong’s repeat concert crasher caught after Tyga set turns chaotic at Cherry Blossom Festival
An infamous Shillong concert trespasser who goes by the handle “ramseytheplug” has finally been arrested after his latest stunt at the Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 sparked on-stage chaos during Tyga’s performance.
The creator slipped into the fanpit without authorisation and pushed toward the stage while recording content. The sudden breach forced security to react, leading to a guard tripping and colliding with the hip-hop star, briefly disrupting the show and prompting immediate concern from organisers.
Investigators report that this wasn’t his first high-risk intrusion. He previously sneaked into the Cherry Blossom Festival 2024 through a weak section of fencing and later bluffed his way into the Ed Sheeran concert by wearing a green vest to pose as event security—all while using the footage to mock event staff and performers online.
Authorities say the arrest followed repeated warnings and growing frustration from organisers who feared his stunts were escalating. Police are now reviewing his past uploads to determine the full extent of the violations.
