Breaking: Mizoram Man Confirmed COVID-19 POSITIVE, 2nd Case in NortheastRepresentational image

Aizawl, March 25, 2020:

After the first corona POSITIVE case that was reported from Manipur yesterday, the State of Mizoram has recorded Northeast India's second positive case of the virus, who, according to our sources, is a 50-year-old male.

According to reports, the patient is a 50-year-old man who recently returned from Amsterdam in Holland with his family. The test was tested at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

An Inside Northeast source said that the man who has been detected COVID-19 positive is a pastor. He has been admitted right now in a medical college. He recently returned from Holland with his family on March 16, and started exhibiting symptoms on March 22. They have all been placed under isolation."

The news of the first positive case in Mizoram has also been confirmed by the State's Health Minister R Lalthangliana earlier today while addressing the press.
