Mizoram: 7 Border Haat to be set up in Myanmar and Bangladesh Border

AIZAWL: In order to boost border trade, Seven new border haat will soon be set up in Mizoram’s Myanmar bordering villages Various villages - Hnahlan, Zote, Vaphai, Pangkhua and Bangladesh bordering villages - Kawrpuichhuah, Marpara and Tuipuibari soon.

Mizoram MP Rajya Sabha Pu K.Vanlalvena and OSD to CM Rosangzuala today met Ministry of External Affairs Joint Secretary Smita Pant at Delhi.

The two officials from Mizoram also raise its concern about the delay of 2019's 14 crores Project of setting up the Zokhawthar - Rihkhawdar friendly bridge at river Tiau by DoNER ministry

The Border Haat are expected to provide impetus to development activities for the people living close to the border areas.
