Mizoram Youth Commission to promote local music artists; sign MoU with Musiconnect Asia

AIZAWL: Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC) and Musiconnect Asia yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which will work towards the promotion of artists related to music from Mizoram on an International platform.

Musiconnect Asia which is an Artist driven venture which connects and create avenues that benefitted Asia based music makers and allied industry, linking them to presenters and opportunities across the globe will promote Mizoram Artists and Musician from now on.

Mizoram Youth Commission is collaborating with North East Wave for the MOU with Musiconnect Asia to promote local bands and individual artists, training musicians, and will look out for festivals and other platforms to promote local talents.

The MoU was signed by Vanlaltanpuia, MLA and Chairman of the MYC and Music Connect Asia Acting President, Kaushik Dutta at MYC Conference Hall, Khatla, Aizawl.
