Mizoram: Houses swept away due to landslide, roads blocked

As a result of the landslide, a road that connects Aizawl to Lunglei district via Bungtlang road is blocked. Many vehicles are currently stranded.

Heavy rainfall has triggered landslides in several parts of Mizoram. The downpour has shattered daily life in the city and other districts in the state.

The affected families have been shifted to safer places and provided all necessary help.
