The MP highlighted the ill effects of illegal drug trafficking and other crimes committed by Myanmar refugees in Mizoram.
He further requested Chin Refugee Community leaders to cooperate in helping to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.
The community leaders also told the MP that they regret such unfortunate incidents and will do their utmost to investigate the refugees in Mizoram.
The problems faced by Chin Refugee Community in India were also discussed, in response to which Vanlalhmangaiha said that he would study their problems and take necessary actions.
