KOHIMA: Great news for cineastes in Northeast India. A short film from Nagaland named 'Angh' has been accepted at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France. The film has been written as well as directed by Theja Rio from Nagaland.
Notably, 'Angh' is the only Indian film to be accepted at the festival this year.

The biggest international film festival, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is solely dedicated to short films.
After Cannes, this film festival is considered as the second-largest in France in terms of audience and professional attendance, boasting over 160,000 attendees and 3,500 professionals annually. It is also an Oscar-qualifying festival.
