The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), Zeliangrong Region has terminated four of its cadres from the services of the separatist group with effect from July 8, 2019.
“The cadres have been terminated for their misconduct of collected money from the FCS Department at Imphal in Manipur without their regional government authorization,” it was stated in an official statement issued by Gaidimchungpou, Midan Peyu, Zeliangrong Region, the Federal Government of Nagaland.
As per the statement of the FGN, the terminated cadres are: Eno Dinpatrei Joshua Riamei, Eno Jianchiu Malangmei , Eno Guloulung Panmei, and Eno Gaijangpou Kamei.
It may be mentioned that the secessionist group, the Federal Government of Nagaland was set up on March 22, 1956.
The Naga insurgency, climaxing in 1956, was an armed ethnic conflict led by the Naga National Council (NNC) which aimed for the secession of Naga territories from India. The more radical sectors of NNC created the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) which also included an underground Naga Army.
