Writing to the Prime Minister, The Nagaland Gaon Burah Federation (NGBF) urged the PM to provide a solution to the Naga people after a protracted peace process without further ado. The Village Chief organization, that held a massive "peace rally" today in Dimapur, told the PM: "there is no reason to account for delay in concluding the ongoing phase of the Naga peace talks."

They also stated that they have been briefed by the negotiators that all the unresolved matters as the date shall be left to be pursued by democratic political process under the new regime envisaged for Naga area. The GB Federation also stated that "it will be a matter of brief discourse to streamline and finalize every resolve matter to conclude the agreement".

"An early signing of the Indo-Naga political agreement will most certainly enhance your repitation", the GB Federation told the PM, adding "Nagas too are prepared to begin an enduring peaceful co-existence after seven decades of conflict."
Dimapur GB Association Khehovi V. Chophy, handed over the memorandum to ADC Dimapur to be submitted to PM Modi.
Z. Lohe, Former Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, also spoke during the Peace Rally on Naga Political Solution at DC Court Junction, Dimapur. Lohe has said that Nagas need peace and solution is the mother of peace. So he has urged the Government of India to give permanent solution to the Naga people without any delay.
