Kohima Police seizes 165 cases of assorted IMFL; 2 arrested

KOHIMA: A highway patrolling party of the Kohima police yesterday seized 165 cases of assorted IMFL which was found concealed in a goods laden truck bearing registration number NL- 01N -1545 from the Peducha area.

The driver of the truck and the owner of the illegal IMFL, identified as Mozen Basumatary (40) and Thejavizo (36) have been arrested. They are both residents of Kohima, police said.

In this connection, a case has been registered at Sechü (Zubza) Police station for further investigation, the Kohima Police updated.
