The Kuki Tribal Union (KTU), NSCN/GPRN says that "it condemns the brutality of the security forces in which six Naga soldiers were shot dead.is extremely shocked and saddened at the tragic incident of Nginu village in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh on the 11th July, 2020".

The KTU extends its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Naga Hoho (NH), Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA), Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and various other organizations that has taken the initiative to bring back and welcome the mortal remains of the associates to reach each of their destination and also conveys gratitude to the United Naga Council (UNC), All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) and Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) for having jointly organized a grand condolence service in Ukhrul on the 17th July, 2020.

The Union also shares the grief of the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty God to grant their families solace and also pray for the souls of the departed comrades to rest in peace", as per the statement.
