Three corona positive cases have been detected in Nagaland. Out of the three cases, two are from Dimapur and 1 is from Kohima.
Taking stock of the situation, CM Neiphiu Rio urged the Nagaland citizens to not "panic". "Please do not panic. We need to handle it with utmost care and responsibility", said Rio.

Meanwhile, the state govt has necessited contact tracing for the patients and containments are underway. Taking to Twitter, the CM said, "Necessary action of contact tracing and containment measures are being taken and situation closely monitored".

Nagaland so far had a case of Raju Jain, who was undergoing treatment in Assam. As per sources, the case of Raju Jain is a Stateless case and the state govt tolled his case to Assam. Now, the Health Ministers of Assam and Nagaland are yet to clarify on the matter. As such, these 3 cases are considered the first homegrown cases of Nagaland.

Much will be understood in the days to come with interstate airlines getting opened, which can possibly increase the spike of cases as the country heads towards a relaxed system of lockdown. The question is, is living with corona the new normal?
