Nagaland Gaon Buras calls for state-wide bandh on February 11

Guwahati, February 8, 2019:

The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) staged a massive protest a rally in Kohima on Friday demanding a solution to Naga issue prevailing in the state before the Lok Sabha election.

The NGBF also protested against the government’s move to amend the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The protestors marched to the Raj Bhavan in Kohima to submit the memorandum to the President and Prime Minister.

The NGBF has called for a state-wide bandh on February 11.

It may be mentioned that the entire North East has been burning with the issue of Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The people are protesting in every possible means to oppose the Bill.
