Nagaland: NSCN-IM holds meet with gaon buras

A consultative meeting between the Isak-Muivah faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) and the GBs’ (gaon buras) Federation of Dimapur district, held on Tuesday, discussed a range of issues including the ongoing Naga peace talks, Framework Agreement etc. The meeting also discussed issues such as territorial integration and shared sovereignty.

At the meeting, the leaders of the GBs’ Federation were invited to New Delhi for discussions as regards the Framework Agreement where they declined the offer but it acted as a trust-gaining policy for NSCN-IM.

Meanwhile, the outfit will hold another meeting with the GBs’ Federation of Nagaland on July 28 in Dimapur and discuss the same issues.
