NAGALAND : NSCN(K) MILLITANTS ATTACKS ASSAM RIFLES, II JAWANS MARTYRED

Gun fight happened in Aboi town (Tenyak nalla near BRO camp), Mon District between Indian armies and suspected NSCN(K) militants.

Acording to the sources, the sounds of bomb and guns continued for about half an hour.

As per reports two Assam Rifles jawans were martyred and three received serious injuries. The injured were taken to CHC Aboi for treatment. The incident happened when joint team of AR and Territorial Armies were on their way to collect drinking water and was attacked by insurgents with bombs and automatic assault rifles.The injured are identified as Sachin Kumar, Dilip Singh and Konyak
