Nagaland: Phek town committee establishes creative huts as quarantine centres

The Phek town committee in Nagaland, which has taken initiative in making a camping site for the stranded people who reached the state, has appealed the people not to panic and cooperate to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Saying that there is no need to get troubled, the committed said, “As the days nears for their return, there may be so many apprehensions, fear, misunderstanding and other related problems but don't get troubled. You may have certain feelings that your child is going to be mistreated in the quarantine centres.”

The Phek town committee in Nagaland further said that people would be given proper medical attention during their stay at the centers. “They will be treated with timely food and other necessary guidance during this period. So don't worry. Keep praying for them. Call them up and encourage them to have patience for these few days. Tell them that for their safety, the government is so kind enough and opened up the opportunity to be with you. Please tell your wards to cooperate with the people who will look and care for them,” the committee added.

Talking about the centres at ITI Satheri, the committee in Nagaland said, “It is more like a camping site or some type of resort in the midst of a small evergreen forest at a wonderful location with creative huts, the watchtowers, the creative walls, and the tree branch chairs, etc. So many things to discover and learn about nature's lovely combinations.”
