Nagaland reports 50 COVID-19 cases together, count stands at 330Sikkim

Nagaland reported 50 new COVID-19 cases together taking the state’s total to 330, the state Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom stated.

Of these, 24 patients are from Dimapur quarantine centre, 14 are from Kohima quarantine centre and 12 are from Peren quarantine centre.

Informing this, the minister tweeted:

Of the 330 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 189 are active cases and 141 have been cured and discharged.

Nagaland and the Northeast

Assam has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India COVID-19 cases so far

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 6 thousand deaths. It has recorded 135796 corona cases with 67706 cured, 6283 deaths, and 61807 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 62655 cases with 36602 cured, 2233 deaths, and 23820 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 62087 positive cases with 34112 cured, 794 deaths 27181 active cases. Gujarat with 27825 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 19909 have been cured, 1684 deaths, and 6232 active cases.
