Nagaland reported 9 more COVID-19 cases on June 12th, 2020 taking the state total to 156. The cases: 6 patients from Dimapur QC, 2 from Kohima QC & 1 from Peren QC.
Samples of 251 people were tested; of which 9 have been tested positive for COVID-19, S Pangnyu Phom, state Health and Family Welfare minister said.
Informing this, the minister tweeted:
Of the 156 confirmed cases, 126 are active and 30 have been cured and discharged in the state so far.
Assam has registered the highest COVID-19 cases in Northeast India. Nagaland has 4th highest in the region.

India has crossed 2 lakh-mark in terms of corona positives on June 3rd. As on June 11th, the country currently has 298K confirmed COVID-19 cases, 141842 active cases with 147194 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 8498.

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 3 thousand deaths. It has recorded 97648 corona cases with 46078 cured, 3590 deaths, and 47980 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 34687 cases with 12245 cured, 984 deaths, and 20871 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 38716 positive cases with 20705 cured, 349 deaths 17662 active cases. Gujarat with 22032 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 15101 have been cured, 1385 deaths, and 5546 active cases.
