DIMAPUR: Former Nagaland Governor RN Ravi today submitted his resignation as the interlocutor for Naga peace talks. The resignation has been accepted by the Centre with immediate effect, informed MHA spokesperson.
Ravi was transferred to Tamil Nadu Raj Bhavan and is currently the governor of the state.

Earlier on Tueday, The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a held a high level meeting with NSCN(IM) chief negotiator Thuingaleng Muivah in Nagaland’s Dimapur.
The meeting was held to ensure long-lasting peace in presence of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
