NO CANDIDATES ON DAY 3 OF NOMINATION FILING IN NAGALAND

No candidate filed papers today, the third day of filing of nominations for the February 27 Nagaland Assembly election. The filing of nominations in the north-eastern started following the issuance of the poll notification by the Election Commission (EC) on January 31. The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, said no candidate had filed nominations for the election so far. The last date of filing of nominations is February 7.
