NPF party Rajya Sabha member K G Kenye to vote against Citizenship Bill

Guwahati, February 1, 2019:

After Meghalaya, Manipur, and Mizoram, Nagaland has moved forward to shield its people from the destructive Citizenship (Amendment) Bill,  2016.

The Naga People's Front (NPF) has reiterated its stand against the Citizenship Bill.

In its Central Executive Council, CEC meeting held in Kohima, NPF resolved that the Party Rajya Sabha member, K G Kenye will vote against the Bill in the house so that the Bill is not passed.

It also resolved that the NDPP led PDA government will be held solely responsible for any fallout on the Nagas out of the Bill.
