The Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagalim-Isaak Muivah (NSCN-IM) has stated that group is ready to deal with Islamic State (also known as ISIS) if terror comes to the state of Nagaland.
After the ISIS-orchestrated serial blasts targeting Churches and high-end hotels killed 359, the NSCN-IM has sounded high-alert on its Arms wing 'Naga Army.'
Executive member of the steering committee of NSCN (IM) V Horam has said that the rebel group is ready to defeat ISIS and added that "A strict order has been issued and our intelligence wing is active". He further added that the NSCN-IM is ready to defeat outside forces who want to disturb the peace in Nagaland.
Out of 19 lakh population in Nagaland, 88 percent belong to the Christian faith. It one of the three Christian-majority states in India along with Meghalaya and Mizoram.
