It is pertinent to mention here that the members of the National People’s Front (NPF) through the newly formed Political Affairs Mission (PAM) led by T. R. Zeliang will meet the former president of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K), General Nikki Sumi today.
In the past, Sumi, whose faction has been holding talks with the government, has reiterated his wish for a common solution that is acceptable to all the negotiating parties.
However, they have not disclosed the agenda and the venue for the meeting. The delegation is expected to take up a host of critical issues between the stakeholders in the peace process.
