ONE KILLED TWO INJURED IN POLL-RELATED VIOLENCE IN NAGALAND

Guwahati, February 27, 2018:

In election-related violence that erupted at Akuluto Assembly Constituency in Zunheboto district of Nagaland, one person was killed and two others injured.

It has been reported that clash erupted between supporters of  Naga People’s Front and National Democratic Progressive Party.

One person was shot dead during the clash. Two persons were reportedly injured when India Reserve Battalion personnel opened fire to quell the violence by supporters of the two parties, some of whom were armed.
