J&K, March 9, 2019:

As the war-like atmosphere along the Indo-Pak border continues and militancy continues to remain a problem in the Kashmir Valley, a top Army Commander has urged the mothers of Kashmir to discourage mothers of the Valley to discourage their wards from picking up arms.

"Today I make a fervent appeal to all Kashmiri mothers to bring back sons who have joined militancy and to stop their sons from picking up arms," said GoC 15 Corps LT Gen KJS Dhillon.

A top army commander on Saturday appealed to the Kashmiri mothers to bring back their sons who have joined militancy.

"Today I make a fervent appeal to all Kashmiri mothers to bring back sons who have joined militancy and to stop their sons from picking up arms," said GoC 15 Corps Lt Gen KJS Dhillon.

The army commander was speaking at the passing-out-cum attestation parade at JAKLI Regimental Centre today.

"I guarantee safe entry of local militants into the mainstream," he added.

It is to be mentioned that Lt Gen Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon took over as the 48th Corps Commander of the Srinagar-based 15 Corps, also called the Chinar Corps, on Friday from Lt Gen AK Bhatt.
