According to media reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not been invited to United States' First Lady Melania Trump's visit to Delhi Government schools.

This development comes on the heels of earlier reports that Kejriwal as well as Deputy Manish Sissodia would be invited to accompany the First Lady on her visit to the schools. They were said to give a tour of the school to Melania and brief her about their public education experiment that focuses on mindfulness exercises and good moral lessons.
Meanwhile, the report of Kejriwal's apparent exclusion has not been well received by Aam Admi Party mates.
Lashing out on Twitter, Preeti Sharma Menon, wrote, "There is no match for the pettiness of @narendramodi. You may not invite @ArvindKejriwal @msisodia but their work speaks for them."
Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, reacting to the situation, has clarified that the BJP Government does not have any say in who attends Melania's planned event.

"There shouldn’t be low-level politics on some issues. India comes under disrepute if we start pulling each other’s legs. The Indian government doesn’t influence the US, as to whom they invite or not", Patra told the media.
