Arvind Kejriwal, defying the odds, is all set to return to form the Government after a hard-fought election that saw the saffron party accumulate all its forces in the national capital in a bid to unseat the Chief Minister from his post. Kejriwal fought the election on issues, while the BJP countered with national issues like the NRC and CAA.

The counting of votes is taking place at 21 centres across the city. The exit poll results for Delhi Assembly elections have predicted a clean sweep for Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi. If Kejriwal wins the election this year, it would be a hat-trick for his party which had managed to win 67 seats in the 2015 polls. In the previous election, the BJP party had won 3 seats.

Meanwhile, the Congress, that ruled Delhi for several terms under the leadership of Sheila Dikshit, has drawn a blank so far.

It may be mentioned here that earlier, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari had predicted that all the exit polls will be proven wrong on 11 February. “All these exit polls will fail. Please save this tweet. The BJP will form the Delhi government with 48 seats. Please don’t blame Electronic Voting Machines then", Tiwari had tweeted. Earlier today, the Bhojpuri superstar turned actor had also predicted that his party would win 55 seats in the 70-member Assembly.
