Baba Ka Dhaba starts a new restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar

NEW DELHI : Kanta Prasad, the 80-year-old owner of Baba Ka Dhaba, an eatery in Delhi, who shot to fame after his video went viral on social media has now which had recently become famous on Monday started a new restaurant in Malviya Nagar.

The name of Kanta Prasad's new restaurant is also named 'Baba Ka Dhaba' and is just a few minutes away from his old Dhaba.

According to sources, the menu of the restaurant will include Indian and Chinese food.

The new dhaba has everything from furniture to staff and also has CCTV cameras installed in this restaurant.

A few months back, YouTuber Gaurav Wasan approached Kanta Prasad and shot a video with him to help and promote his business.

Wasan posted the video on social media through his account namely 'Swad Official' and requested the public to donate money to financially help

The 80-year old owner of the eatery shot to fame after a tearful video of him went viral and caught the attention of netizens and celebrities.

But the story took an ugly turn in November when Prasad filed a complaint against Instagram influencer Gaurav Wasan for misappropriation of funds. He further alleged that Wasan "intentionally and deliberately shared only his and his family/friends bank details and mobile numbers with the donors and collected huge amount of donation" on his behalf but did not give most of the money to him.

Now as the news of Prasad's new restaurant spread, internet users turned to memes and jokes to address their queries about how Kanti Prasad managed to get the funds to open up a restaurant if he was cheated out of his money.
