Breaking | BJP MLA Bheema Mandavi, 5 cops killed in Maoist attack

Raipur, April 9, 2019:

Violence continues to escalate in the country ahead of the Lok Sabha polls and in a shocking incident ahead of the polls, Maoists in Chhattisgarh have attacked a BJP convoy and killed BJP MLA Bheema Mandavi and five security personnel.

The Maoists reportedly attacked the convoy with IEDs as it was passing through the area.

The incident has occurred at Dantewada at Chhattisgarh and the legislator from the area, Bheema Mandavi, is reportedly among the list of casualties.

This continues the recent spate of Maoist attacks in Chhattisgarh as the rebels have embarked on a mission of violence after deciding to boycott the Lok Sabha elections.
