Breaking | Soldiers martyred in encounter at J&K’s Handwara

J&K, March 1, 2019:

In an encounter that took place between the security forces and a group of terrorists at around 6 pm on Friday at Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir, five Indian officials have been martyred and two terrorists have been killed.

An Inspector and Constable of the CRPF, a SOG personnel, an HC Army personnel and an Ln Army personnel were the casualties of an operation carried at Babagund in Handwara. The crossfire began after the Indian forces cornered a few militants who were hiding in the area.

The encounter continues as both sides continue firing.
