CBSE releases date sheet of class 10 & 12 exams today

 

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the datesheet of classes 10 and 12 examinations today. The exams are scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 10.

 

 

The date sheet has been released nearly 3 months before so that students can make their study plan and overcome the problems faced during pandemic.

 

 

The class 12 exams will be held in two shifts to reduce the number of days of conducting exams.

 

 

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released the datasheet through a video message and wished students for the exams. The datesheet is available now at the official website (cbse.nic.in).

 

 

In 2020, exam schedule was of 45 days, however, in 2021 exam schedule is of 39 days.

 

 

Due to the pandemic, the syllabus for both class 10 and 12 exams has been reduced by 30 per cent and many chapters that were a part of the syllabus last year have been omitted.

 

 

Further, board exams will have 33 per cent internal choice questions. The schools will conduct the practical exams from March 1.

 

 

The exams will be held following the COVID-19 pandemic protocols, wearing a face mask, carrying hand sanitisers will be a must and social distancing will be maintained.
