Taking to social media platform Twitter, Gandhi wrote, "मेट्रो स्टेशन बंद हैं।
[Translation: Metro Station is closed. The internet is closed. Section 144 everywhere. Nowhere there is permission to raise voices. The same Government that spent crores' of taxpayer money to inform about the situation, is so scared of the people's voices, that it has shut them down.]
In a following tweet, the Congress leader wrote, "मगर इतना जान लीजिए कि जितना आवाज दबाएँगे उतनी तेज आवाज उठेगी।"
[Translation: But be warned. The more you attempt to suppress the voices, the higher they will rise in protest.]
