The Indian National Congress (INC) has expressed that it respects the historic verdict of the “Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid” title dispute.
The Congress Working Committee (CWC) issued a statement in which it mentioned that the party respects the apex court’s verdict.

It added, “We appeal to all the parties concerned and to all the communities to abide by the secular value spirit of fraternity enshrined in our Constitution and to maintain peace and harmony.”
The statement further added, “It is the responsibility of each one of us to reaffirm our tradition of mutual respect and unity among all that has defined our society through the ages.”
It may be mentioned here that the Supreme Court in its verdict gave its nod for the construction of Ram Mandir.
The historic judgement was made by a five-judges bench led by Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi. The bench also included justices S A Bobde, D Y Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.

A total of 2.77-acre land has been given to the Hindu parties by the Supreme Court with a trust to be formed by the Centre to monitor the construction of a Ram Mandir.
The Sunni Waqf Board will get 5 acres of alternate land, which will be accorded either by the state or the Centre.
