The death toll in the Sri Lanka serial bomb blast has increased to 290 and 500 injured with hours passing by as on Monday. A series of blasts, primarily targeted at Churches and high-end hotels, rocked the island nation on Easter Sunday morning.
As per reports, the death of 6 Indian nationals has been confirmed by the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka. Among the five, death of two JDS members KG Hanumantharayappa and M Rangappa in the bomb blasts, yesterday has also been confirmed.
Meanwhile, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy also mentioned that a 7-member team of JDS workers from Karnataka, who were touring Colombo in the country, have gone missing after bomb blasts.
