As a part of the precautionary step against cyclone “Fani”, all the flights to and from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata have been cancelled from 9.30 pm on May 3, till 6 pm on May 4, 2019, by the airport authority.
As per the statement of the Indian aviation regulator DGCA advisory committee, the cancellations have been done in view of the safety of the passengers and avoid any inconvenience of them. The flight service will be resumed only after clearance from respective air traffic control.
Meanwhile, IndiGo has cancelled all its flights to and from Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam on Friday. Whereas, all the flights from Odisha have already been cancelled.
