61 colleges under Delhi University are set to begin the second round of merit-based admissions to its undergraduate courses from today, October 19, 2020, onwards.
The second cut-off list has been released by the university on October 17, 2020, on the official site of DU at du.ac.in for admission to various undergraduate degree programmes for the academic session 2020-21.
The admission has started from 10 am, and will continue till Wednesday, 5 pm. Applicants can, however, pay the fee till Friday night. Dean (Admissions) Shobha Bagai said.
Reportedly, the anticipated number of students taking admissions this year were comparatively higher. This is why the hours for the admission and payment process have been extended.

Previously, students had reported errors while trying to pay the fee through the university portal till the last day of payment under the first cut-off list.
As per schedule, the new academic year 2020-21 for the Delhi University would commence from November 18 for the students taking admission now. The examinations for the first semester would be conducted in March and the new semester would begin on April 1.
