In the light of the Coronavirus epidemic, the Alumni of universities such as IIT, University of Delhi, Tezpur University, AEC, Symbiosis International University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Gauhati University are currently working on setting up one single platform for better learning called deSchool.
The e-learning platform deSchool will offer the following facilities for the students of class 9 to 12:
• Career counseling and academic assistance to students by means of guidance in areas such as course and institute selection alongside other related spheres.
• Completion of the syllabus of all the subjects, under CBSE and State board.
• Live, interactive audio-visual classes.
• Regular evaluation processes through means of tests, assignments, report makings, etc.
• Innovative methods employed for conceptual clarity, such as movie reviews, book reviews, documentary analysis, in-class activities, and so on.
• Doubt clearing sessions once a week.
• Monthly feedback reports.

A few weeks back, the Delhi University has launched a unique initiative called ‘One DU’ under which it has integrated all the e-learning resources offered by the varsity on a single platform. One DU platform will promote online education across teaching departments, colleges, centres, and other affiliated bodies.
The One DU programme has been envisioned by the varsity as an initiative that will cater to the e-learning needs of the students, especially in the current circumstances. Through this programme, the University will Generate and Disseminate e-Resources, as and when required.
