Ex-Union Minister Gurudas Kamat dead

New Delhi, Aug 22, 2018:

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Gurudas Kamat died at a private hospital here on Wednesday following a massive heart attack. He was 63 and is survived by his wife Maharookh and son Sunil.

According to reports, Kamat complained of severe chest pain while having his morning tea at his residence. His driver rushed him to Primus Hospital in Chanakyapuri area where he reportedly died within a few minutes.

The All India Congress Committee has condoled the demise of the senior Congress leader.
